Hey, everyone! You all should have received a student input survey from the university regarding the Presidential Search. I encourage you to fill it out to put HES on the map as a priority for the new president. The survey closes at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, and the Harvard school with the highest participation rate will receive a study break party in December.

Please, please, PLEASE voice your concerns so we can earn some visibility and change for our school.

This isn't actually about HES but I thought this would be a good group to ask for information. A friend's daughter is pursuing an opportunity with the Harvard Summer Experience at HU this summer. She's a brilliant student (taking junior and senior level math and chemistry in her first year of college at 18) and this could be a great first step leading towards high level graduate study later. The catch is that the summer experience is roughly $3,000 a credit hour. The family is looking at the aid options they can find but I wondered if anybody here knew of good opportunities to pursue. Any information would be helpful as this is a new venture for them so feel free to share ideas. Thanks!
